This one day conference will provide participants with up-to-date information on salient topics on Alzheimer’s disease. Join us for an engaging agenda to gain the most current information on quality of life considerations, communication techniques, mental health interventions, legal considerations, behavioral interventions and self-care approaches.
Objective:

  • Recognize the salient legal considerations when working with persons with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
  • Identify communication techniques that enhance daily activities and quality of life with persons with Alzheimer’s disease in any settings.
  • Discuss the mental health issues experienced by persons with Alzheimer’s disease and effective approaches to treatment.
  • Select the appropriate evidence-based interventions to address related behaviors and cognitive deficits of persons with Alzheimer’s disease.
