This in-person presentation will include a power point
presentation with brainstorming, role playing and case study.
At the end of the presentation the participants will be
encouraged to make a contract with themselves as to what they will implement
into their professional practices as a result of participating in this
presentation.
Optional 1 additional CE credit opportunity:
In addition to
participating in the 2-hour presentation in person, the individuals will be
given a Case study to take with them to consider and develop a plan of
remediation for fear of falling. They
will call in for a conference call to be held 2 weeks later in which they will
share with peers their remediation ideas and discuss options with peers. The participants will then be called upon to
share the progress they have made in implementing the action into their
professional practice they committed to the day of the training. This will be a “lunch and learn” opportunity.
