This session will provide practical information on how to provide a creatively engaging virtual experience for older adults during the pandemic. Learners will discover how to select material and employ a variety of creative methods to capture their attention. Options on best ways to connect when unable to provide face-to-face programming will be shared.

Objective:
  • The learner will be able to employ a variety of virtual options to connect with older adults to help reduce their sense of social isolation.
  • The learner will be able to identify important factors when preparing a creatively engaging experience.
  • The learner will be able to apply at least one new improvisational tool while creatively engaging elders.
