This webinar will engage participants in a discussion about how long-term care providers and care-partners can re-imagine life with dementia.

Objective:
  • Attendees will gain a new perspective and knowledge of what it is like to be diagnosed with dementia and live through the views of providers stereotypes of what they think it is like.
  • Attendees will learn the importance of language and how the words we choose can either support or disable or person living with dementia.
  • Attendees will learn new techniques to communicate with families going through the journey of dementia and how to support them in ways that validate their feelings.
