Description:
Join us for an engaging agenda to learn how to help family members interact and support behavioral changes, especially during times of reduced staff, stress and isolation.  We will also be having candid conversation with Alzheimer’s Association professionals to share ideas to better serve the community.
Objective:

  • Describe strategies to support and have meaningful engagement for people with dementia,
  • Identify approaches to employment stress that can impact our interactions with the person with dementia and their loves ones.
  • Define how we as professionals can effectively play the role of care-partner, teacher and support system.
  • Outline how the Alzheimer’s Association can help the community in their real-life issues that they face in regards to memory loss.
